Introduction to the knowledge base
The Projsite Knowledge Base brings together construction-logistics knowledge and the workflows, features and metrics used to plan, coordinate and follow up construction projects in Projsite.
What the knowledge base is
The knowledge base brings together knowledge about construction logistics, deliveries, resources, waste, sustainability and digitalisation from the perspective of how Projsite is used to plan, follow up and develop construction projects.
We explain both fundamental concepts and more specific metrics, workflows and features relevant to Projsite. The aim is to make it easier to understand construction logistics itself and how it can be managed digitally in practice.
How it is organised
The content is organised around the areas Projsite works with in construction logistics — from deliveries and resources to waste, sustainability, compliance and AI. Each area can include introductions, definitions, practical guidance, Projsite metrics, product explanations, podcast material and related concepts.
- Construction logistics — the fundamentals, terminology and how the flows come together in Projsite.
- Deliveries — planning, booking, reception and follow-up in Projsite.
- Resources — booking and use of hoists, cranes, loading zones and other shared capacity.
- Waste — sorting, containers, collections and the waste data managed in Projsite.
- Sustainability — the impact of transport and the related metrics followed in Projsite.
- AI & digitalisation — how Projsite uses automation, AI support and project data.
- KPIs & metrics — reference for the metrics used in Projsite.
Finding your way
- Search the knowledge base when you are looking for a term, a metric or something said in the podcast. The search covers pages, metrics, episodes and transcripts.
- Use the navigation on the left to read an area in order.
- On longer pages the "On this page" list appears on the right, linking straight to each section.
- At the bottom of each page you find related knowledge and links onward to the next page in the area.
How the content is written
The pages are written by the Projsite editorial team based on work with construction logistics in live projects. We do not publish figures, thresholds or calculation formulas we cannot substantiate, and a metric is only described as existing when it genuinely exists in Projsite today.
