Roles and permissions
Role-based access distinguishes membership, roles, broad booking permissions and specific status transitions.
Two permission levels
Company permissions apply to organisation-wide functions such as users and warehouses. Project permissions apply to project-specific functions such as bookings, documents and operational modules.
Membership, roles and effective permission
Membership answers whether a user belongs to a context. Permission answers what they can do. Effective permission can depend on membership, role, company, project, explicit configuration and module.
Booking and status permissions
| Permission | Controls |
|---|---|
| Booking permission | Broad actions such as view, edit, delete, approve or comment. |
| Status permission | Whether a specific transition can be performed on the booking in its current state. |
| Warehouse permission | Material records, stock, codes and administrative settings. |
