Projsite documentation
Materials, stock and storage locations
Material describes what something is; stock describes where it exists, how much exists and in what state.
Material and stock
One material can have separate stock in several warehouses or projects. The model can distinguish a shared material definition from variants carrying manufacturer, product identifier, location, project or tracking information.
Stock quantities
Inventory can distinguish available, reserved, used, intended for reuse and other states supported by the workflow.
Storage locations
- Warehouse
- Zone or section
- Shelf
- Shelf level
- Specific storage position
Units and conversions
Materials can use pieces, pallets, m², m³ and kg. Where conversion information is configured, Projsite can maintain a base quantity while presenting an operational equivalent.
