Magic Inbox

- View in calendar
Project-specific email address
Source material and metadata
Documented source types are email text, PDF, Excel and images. An email can contain several sources. For spreadsheets, file, sheet or tab, column and row can be identified so extracted information remains traceable.
Review and states
Typical review states include ready, needs review and missing data. Review can include date, time, contractor, supplier, responsible person, material, addresses, notes, status, deviations and source information.
Uncertainty, errors and versions
Where available, an extraction can be regenerated with more context. Version history can show when a version was generated and how results changed; earlier versions may be restorable.
Best practices
- Use clear dates, times and suppliers.
- Use consistent columns and readable scans.
- Review all proposals and use source information when something looks wrong.
- Use the Projsite Excel template where available for recurring or larger datasets.
